Throughout his training program, Don received medical training in several specialties including family practice, obstetrics and gynecology, psychology, internal and emergency medicine, pediatrics, general surgery, and neurology. He is also fluent in Spanish.

While working towards his master’s degree, Don completed a literature review with Capstone Paper at Saint Francis University titled; Cognitive reserve delays dementia and multilingualism builds cognitive reserve. He composed his graduate paper, entitled, Migraine Recognition and Management in Primary Care.

He is new to Oregon, moving here from Denver and excited to get to know the community. His interests include hiking, running, camping, traveling, and photography.
